Healing is the bread of the children!

Healing Scriptures

Exodus 15:26
And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

Exodus 23:25-26
And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. 26 There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.

Deuteronomy 7:15
15 And the LORD will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee.

Psalm 91:9-10
9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; 10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

Psalm 103:1-5
1 Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. 2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: 3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; 4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; 5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

Psalm 107:19-20
19 Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses. 20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

Proverbs  4:20-23
My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. 23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

Isaiah 41:10
"Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."

Isaiah 53:4-5
4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Isaiah 55:9-11
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. 10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Isaiah 58:6-11
6 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? 7 Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? 8 Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward. 9 Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity; 10 And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noonday: 11 And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.

Jeremiah 30:17
17 For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.

Malachi 4:2-3
2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.

Matthew 7:7-11
7Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. 9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? 10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? 11If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

Matthew 8:16-17
16 When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: 17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

Mark 11:22-24
22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. 23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Mark 16:17-18
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Luke 4:17-19

And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, 18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

Acts 5:15-16
15 Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them. 16 There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.

Acts 10:38
38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

Galatians 3:13
13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree.

James 5:13-16
13 Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. 14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: 15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. 16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Sound of the Shofar Blast! Are You Ready?

I dreamt that my husband and I were outside somewhere and all of a sudden, we heard the sound of a shofar.  It was a loud trumpet blast!  Without saying a word or any verbal communication, my husband and I looked at each other and we knew that JESUS was getting ready to return!  We were ECTATIC!  We were overwhelmed with JOY!  After this awesome feeling of jubilation, I immediately thought - is my heart, right?  Is my heart pure? Am I ready?  For we know that only the PURE in HEART shall see GOD (Matthew 5:8)!  We begin saying LORD, create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me (Psalm 51).

This is like the third time I have heard the sound of the shofar while I was asleep.

Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.  And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.
Matthew 24:30-31

God’s Amazing Grace – My Journey Through Homelessness

God’s GRACE is so amazing! It’s indescribable. There are no words that I can find to articulate God’s grace adequately. There is no way possible that I can do the subject of grace any justice. All I know is that it can and will take you through any difficult situation. Just ask the Apostle Paul. Three times, he asked Jesus to remove the thorn from his side, and Jesus response was – My Grace Is Sufficient. So few, but such profound words!! Some speculate that this thorn in his flesh may have been malaria or epilepsy. No one can say for sure. However, it is believed to have been a physical affliction.

Concerning this I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might leave me; But He said to me, my grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for But He said to me, my grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you (sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble (manfully); for my strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in (your) weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me. So, I am well pleased with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, and with difficulties, for the sake of Christ; for when I am weak [in human strength], then I am strong [truly able, truly powerful, truly drawing from God’s strength]. 2 Corinthians 12: 8-10 AMP

I personally had an encounter with His Grace and found it to be truly incredible! I remember when my family and I found ourselves unexpectedly homeless and out on the streets with nowhere to go after relocating to California from Michigan. I went there to pursue my dream of going into the entertainment industry. I had gotten to a point where I was tired and worn out - body, soul, mind, and spirit. I was ashamed, humiliated, burnt-out and utterly exhausted from going from motel to hotel, sleeping and sometimes living out of our truck, calling Church after Church, organization after organization and family members for help. Plus, I was going through a serious health challenge. This had to be one of the most challenging seasons of my life. Although I was drained spiritually, mentally, physically, psychologically and emotionally, I knew things could be worse. I knew that someone else was going through something far worse than what we were going through. I’m not one to complain, but I tell you the truth - this fiasco had taken a toll on us. I desperately needed to hear from God! I needed direction. I needed answers! I needed to know if we should pack up and go back home to Detroit or remain in California. So, I went to God and humbly said to Him "I really need to hear from you.” And to my surprise, The Lord simply and quietly whispered in my ear – “MY GRACE IS SUFFICIENT." I thought to myself – You got to be kidding me. This was not the answer I wanted to hear – definitely the wrong answer. I didn’t want to disrespect or dishonor my heavenly Father, but again I humbly said to Him, Is that it Lord? You mean that’s all you have to say? I thought – Come on Lord, I know you can do anything. All you have to do is speak a word, and this can all be over and done with immediately. You are a miracle-working God! I’ve read and studied your word. I know you are a God of miracles, signs, and wonders! You are the God that brought the children of Israel across the Red Sea by dry land and gave them miracle-food to eat. You gave them water from the rock to drink. You are the God who heals the sick, open blind eyes, deaf ears and raises the dead. So, I knew He could certainly provide us with a home! I knew God was more than able to deliver us instantly and bring us out of this terribly uncomfortable situation if He wanted to. Well, after we fasted and prayed, within 2-3 weeks the Lord did provide us with a beautiful place to live, in a beautiful neighborhood - rent-free for 9 years which totaled over $100,000 and so much more! God gave us our recompense indeed! For our shame, He gave us back double just as He promised in Isaiah 61:7 - Instead of your shame you will have a double portion, And instead of humiliation they will shout for joy over their portion. He gave us beauty for ashes, joy for mourning and praise for heaviness (Isaiah 61:3)!! Our God is soooo FAITHFUL!! Although there are times when He will instantly deliver us, there are other times when we just have to weather the storm. He’s not always going to bring us out of our problems right away.

God is indeed a God of Restoration.
He promised to restore the years that the locust has eaten (Joel 2:25)!

Seeing the lack of compassion, empathy, concern, and help that was available for the homeless was more than I could handle, but see that’s where God’s supernatural great grace came in. Little did I know at the time just how sufficient His Grace really is! As I later reflected upon that situation, I could genuinely say without a shadow of a doubt that His Grace is supremely sufficient! God's great grace is no joke and not to be taken lightly! When I became physically ill and extremely weak in my body and thought I couldn’t make it another day; His grace upheld me, sustained me, strengthened me, saved me and kept me from falling! His GRACE wouldn’t let me give up and throw in the towel. His GRACE kept me from losing my mind. O I thank the LORD for His supernatural, awesome and amazing GREAT GRACE! His GRACE kept the adversary from destroying me and taking me out of here. His GRACE held my marriage together! His GRACE didn’t allow my heart to become bitter or hard. I must admit that my heart was wounded and hurt for a while, but He healed my wounds. Lord, I give you praise, honor and glory! To Him, I will forever remain grateful and loyal!

And with great strength and ability and power the apostles delivered their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus and great grace (loving-kindness and favor and goodwill) rested richly upon them all. Acts 4:33

Through this wilderness season, although we were turned away by many (there are some things that it still hurts to talk about), God had a few good men and women available to help us and who earnestly showed us the love of Christ. We will never forget them! He surely had a ram in the bush. When we initially became homeless, I remember one day I went into a beauty salon for some information and met a lady who invited us to visit her brother's church in Orange County. One day we decided to visit, and during praise and worship, the pastor said, the Lord said there is someone here who is going through a difficult time and need help.

If that is you raise your hand. I knew he was talking about me, but I felt ashamed and embarrassed and didn’t raise my hand immediately. I lifted my hand to praise the Lord, and the pastor said is that you and I said yes. I thank the Lord Jesus that He didn’t allow my shame to get in the way of my blessing! The Lord blew my mind that day. I thank God for this Pastor's obedience! He told his people to bring up baskets and asked this small congregation to help us financially. I couldn’t believe this was happening to me. To see the people including the children going up putting money in the baskets messed me up (in a good way). Some of the little ones were putting change in there. Oh, my heart was touched and
so full of joy. If I never experience seeing the compassion of God again, I must say I saw the genuine love of Christ that day, and I will always remember this selfless act of kindness. This small congregation raised about $600 that day and presented it to me. All I could do is weep!

Once, my family and I were sitting in a restaurant with little money to buy food. I started talking to a young lady and told her about our situation, and she paid for our food. She then put me in touch with a wonderful pastor and his wife who let us come and stay with them for about 2 weeks. Even though my family kept telling us to come back home, the Lord was leading us to hold on just a little while longer and to ride out the storm. On another occasion, I felt the Lord was telling me to visit a church in Hollywood and I obeyed. By faith, I waited at the door after the service watching and looking for someone who would discern that we were in need of help. Everyone was almost gone, so I told the Lord I know you sent me here. Now, who are you going to use to bless us with money to get a hotel room? We had driven a long way from the Inland Empire and had just a little gas in our truck. I then saw a pleasant lady walk by and felt led to go to her and tell her about our situation. She immediately sprang into action. She took me to the Pastor and his wife and told them about our situation. They prayed for me, and that was it. Although I appreciated the prayer, it would have been nice for them to offer us some assistance. The lady then gave me $40 and took me to meet another lady who wrote us a check for $100. Glory to God! This dear lady then prayed with us and gave me her number. She stayed in contact and even offered us a room in her home until we found a place which we accepted her offer.

But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him,
how does the love of God abide in him? 1 John 3:17

I know there is this stigma and sometimes negative views of the homeless by many, but unexpected hardship and situations can arise in one’s life just like in our case. Yes, there are people who are lazy and who will attempt to use or abuse one’s kindness.

However, we lost our jobs. This had never happened before. Mind you during this time, we were getting unemployment checks, and my husband was working temporary jobs at Labor Ready, but we were still struggling. You never know what predicament you may one day find yourself in. God loves the poor and needy, although we help and bless His people because He said to do so. There are many blessings that He promises to us when we do so. Those that the world call castaways are dear to the heart of God! So, let’s be sensitive to His voice and reach out to help the poor when we can! I want to urge the body of Christ to remember God’s people especially those of the household of faith.

So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith. Galatians 6:10

I don’t know why this happened to us, but I’ve learned how to lean not unto my own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). While this experience didn’t feel good, I knew deep down in my heart that God had a divine purpose and a plan that we were not aware of. I knew what we went through was not in vain.

Although, I considered myself to be a generous and giving person this ordeal took my level of compassion to another level. I’ve also had to pray for a higher level of discernment. Through our plight of homelessness, our ministry was birthed – 4 His Glory Ministry. We can’t help everyone but have had the privilege of helping hundreds of homeless and underserved families. What the devil meant for evil, God meant it for our good! Please know that no matter how great your challenge may be today; God’s grace is more than able to take you through your tough times. I want to encourage you to hold fast to Jesus Christ, The Author, and Finisher of your faith! May God’s supernatural GRACE rest upon each one of you. Grace grace grace be multiplied upon you, right now. In Jesus Name!

A Dreadful Dream!

On December 19, 2018, I had a dream that I was somewhere outside in a familiar area.  I looked up to the sky and there were clouds hovering over this particular area. It was like a storm was brewing.  As I looked up to the sky, I heard myself say - we must call on the four winds to hold this thing back and that was the end of the dream.  After awaking, I felt as if something was looming in the spirit.  I felt fearful about whatever this thing was.  I had remembered reading something in the Bible about the four winds.  As I inquired of the Lord regarding this dream and doing some research a few things came to mind.

I knew it could be a really good thing (bringing supernatural blessings and provision), but it could also be a really terrible thing.  I knew the four winds could bring forth devastation or a catastrophe.  The blowing of the four winds can also mean a dreadful and general destruction.  Lord, have mercy!  You can find information about these four winds in Revelation 7.  It talks about the delaying of this judgement and destruction until the 144,000 are sealed and marked.

The following day, I had a dream that the Lord had me fasting.  Although, I don’t completely understand the depth of this dream, I felt God was clearly and vividly showing me what I’m supposed to do and that is fast and pray against these four winds which I immediately started to do.

Revelation 7: 1-4 - After these things I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, on the sea, or on any tree. Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, saying, “Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.” And I heard the number of those who were sealed. One hundred and forty-four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed:

Another thing that came to mind is that we can’t take the wrath and judgement of God lightly.  We need to also pray for strength to endure until the end!  Jesus said in Matthew 24:13, But he who endures to the end shall be saved.

I ask God right now to seal us, mark us, protect us, and strengthen us that we may stand firm and strong during these wicked and perilous times we are living in. In JESUS MIGHTY, AWESOME and powerful name!

Who will be able to withstand?  For the great day of their wrath has come,
and who can withstand it?
Revelation 6:17
